Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Washing clothes by an Alpine bridge; and Barges mooring at a market town by Felice Auguste Rezia. The price achieved of GBP 611.00 (€ 975.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Felice Auguste Rezia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The market before the grand clock, Rouen; and Another similar of a bustling market town in September 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63).

Im August 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Washing clothes by an Alpine bridge; and Barges mooring at a market town von Felice Auguste Rezia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 611,00 (€ 975,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felice Auguste Rezia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The market before the grand clock, Rouen; and Another similar of a bustling market town im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.425,63).
