Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Near Verona, Italy by Felice Auguste Rezia. The price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 836.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Felice Auguste Rezia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The market before the grand clock, Rouen; and Another similar of a bustling market town in September 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63).
