The work Mrs Roosevelt hosting a reception at the Presidential Building, Chicago by Feliks Topolski was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2011. The auction ended at the price of GBP 600.00 (€ 675.70), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Feliks Topolski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sir Winston Churchill in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,414.60).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 675,70) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00.
