The result of EUR 50,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Felice Casorati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lo studio in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 605,600.00.

Die Arbeit Nature Morte (Pommes Et Flûtes) von Felice Casorati wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Collection Particulière Italienne : De Giovanni Fattori à Giorgio de Chirico bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 50.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Felice Casorati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lo studio im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 605.600,00.
