Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Collection Particulière Italienne : De Giovanni Fattori à Giorgio de Chirico, which included the work Fenêtre by Felice Casorati. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Felice Casorati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lo studio in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 605,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Collection Particulière Italienne : De Giovanni Fattori à Giorgio de Chirico durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fenêtre von Felice Casorati zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Felice Casorati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lo studio im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 605.600,00.
