Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Street sellers at the quay, a Continental town; and Another similar by Felice Auguste Rezia was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2003, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,530.94). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felice Auguste Rezia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The market before the grand clock, Rouen; and Another similar of a bustling market town, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Street sellers at the quay, a Continental town; and Another similar von Felice Auguste Rezia im April 2003 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.530,94) den Besitzer.
