Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,682.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felice Auguste Rezia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The market before the grand clock, Rouen; and Another similar of a bustling market town, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63).
