Auction result well in line with expectations

The work A Mediterranean capriccio; and another similar by Felice Auguste Rezia was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,682.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felice Auguste Rezia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The market before the grand clock, Rouen; and Another similar of a bustling market town, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63).

Die Arbeit A Mediterranean capriccio; and another similar von Felice Auguste Rezia kam im November 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.682,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
