Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Federico Herrero was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,113.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico Herrero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paisaje, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,753.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Federico Herrero kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.113,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Federico Herrero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paisaje beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.753,32) versteigert wurde.
