The work En tierra extraña by Federico Herrero was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,612.85), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico Herrero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paisaje, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,753.32).

Die Arbeit En tierra extraña von Federico Herrero wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.612,85) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Federico Herrero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paisaje beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.753,32) versteigert wurde.
