Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Perseus And The Minotaur by Federico Castellón was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,472.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Castellón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Harem Favorite in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,392.23).
