Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Aurelía by Federico Cantú for USD 500.00 (€ 448.27). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Cantú achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Federico Cantú (1908-1989) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 99,806.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Aurelía von Federico Cantú für USD 500,00 (€ 448,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Cantú erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Federico Cantú (1908-1989) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 99.806,69).
