Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bagnanti verticali by Fausto Pirandello was sold in the Thinking Italian Milan auction at Christies in Milan in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 31,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Fausto Pirandello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bagnanti in November last year with an auction result of EUR 240,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bagnanti verticali von Fausto Pirandello wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Thinking Italian Milan bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 31.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fausto Pirandello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bagnanti im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 240.000,00.
