Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fausto Giusto could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction, the work Paris in the snow changed hands for GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,553.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fausto Giusto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place De La Concorde, Paris in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,457.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fausto Giusto konnte im März 2003 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART wechselte die Arbeit Paris in the snow für GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.553,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fausto Giusto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Place De La Concorde, Paris im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.457,72).
