Auction result well in line with expectations
In February last year VAN HAM held the auction Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work "Weißer Fleck rechts". by Fathwinter. The price achieved of EUR 3,564.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fathwinter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rot in kühler Schichtung, which sold at auction in April 2012 for EUR 9,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Weißer Fleck rechts". von Fathwinter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.564,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fathwinter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rot in kühler Schichtung beobachtet, die im April 2012 für EUR 9.125,00 versteigert wurde.
