Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled by Farid Belkahia was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2016. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,978.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farid Belkahia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jerusalem in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,840.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled von Farid Belkahia kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.978,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farid Belkahia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jerusalem im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 225.840,96).
