This artwork by Farid Belkahia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2018. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Moroccanfoule (Crowd) sold for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,524.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farid Belkahia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jerusalem in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,840.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Farid Belkahia erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Moroccanfoule (Crowd) für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.524,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farid Belkahia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jerusalem im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 225.840,96).
