Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Farid Belkahia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2017. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Moroccan untitled sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,528.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farid Belkahia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jerusalem in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 225,840.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Farid Belkahia erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Moroccan untitled für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.528,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farid Belkahia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jerusalem im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 225.840,96).
