Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (From The Jar Series) by Farhad Moshiri was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,522.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farhad Moshiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (From The Jar Series) von Farhad Moshiri kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.522,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
