Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ma’arifa (Knowledge) by Farhad Moshiri was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,493.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Farhad Moshiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ma’arifa (Knowledge) von Farhad Moshiri kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 101.493,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
