Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 8N619VT by Farhad Moshiri was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 131,250.00 (€ 152,240.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Farhad Moshiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 8N619VT von Farhad Moshiri kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 131.250,00 (€ 152.240,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
