Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 1597YTA (from the Numbers series) by Farhad Moshiri was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 108,743.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Farhad Moshiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 1597YTA (from the Numbers series) von Farhad Moshiri kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 108.743,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
