Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Farhad Hussain could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals auction, this work without title changed hands for HKD 8,820.00 (€ 1,066.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farhad Hussain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 2006 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 22,306.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Farhad Hussain konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 8.820,00 (€ 1.066,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farhad Hussain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2006 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.306,00.
