Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birth of Venus by Farah Ossouli was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,058.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Farah Ossouli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Untitled (From Hafiz Series) was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,191.25).

Die Arbeit Birth of Venus von Farah Ossouli wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.058,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
