Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yi Yuanji and His Monkey by Fan Zeng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. The price achieved of HKD 630,000.00 (€ 72,898.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Zeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Finishing Touch of the Dragon Eye in August last year with an auction result of HKD 17,700,000.00 (€ 2,240,417.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yi Yuanji and His Monkey von Fan Zeng kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 72.898,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Zeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Finishing Touch of the Dragon Eye im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.700.000,00 (€ 2.240.417,29).
