Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Falk Gernegroß achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in December last year. In the Spotlight: Contemporary | ONLINE ONLY auction, the work Ping-pong II. sold for EUR 6,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Falk Gernegroß; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Summer of 69 sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of EUR 9,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Falk Gernegroß erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Spotlight: Contemporary | ONLINE ONLY wurde die Arbeit Ping-pong II. für EUR 6.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Falk Gernegroß; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Summer of 69 im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.375,00.
