This artwork by Faïbich-Shraga Zarfin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists auction, the work L'arbre rouge sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,193.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Faïbich-Shraga Zarfin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Clairiere sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of EUR 5,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Faïbich-Shraga Zarfin erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists wurde die Arbeit L'arbre rouge für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.193,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Faïbich-Shraga Zarfin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Clairiere im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.200,00.
