This artwork by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2021. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work without title sold for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 71,652.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 60.480,00 (€ 71.652,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.016.330,73).
