This artwork by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction, the work The Earth Mother sold for GBP 31,500.00 (€ 36,705.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections wurde die Arbeit The Earth Mother für GBP 31.500,00 (€ 36.705,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00.
