Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of the artists daughter, Şirin Devrim as Lady Macbeth by Fahrelnissa Zeid was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction at Bonhams in January this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,125.00 (€ 21,707.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
