Artwork auctioned at nine times the upper estimate price
When the work Sull'Acqua by Fabrizio Plessi was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 300.00 but the actual price achieved was more than nine times as high at EUR 2,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabrizio Plessi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mosaico Liquido in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 137,862.32).
Kunstwerk zum Neunfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Sull'Acqua von Fabrizio Plessi im Dezember 2021 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 300,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 2.800,00 mehr als neunmal so hoch. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabrizio Plessi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mosaico Liquido im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 137.862,32).
