Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian the Slave Market by Fabio Fabbi. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,628.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabio Fabbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tambourine Dance in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 363,200.00 (€ 302,792.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian the Slave Market von Fabio Fabbi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.628,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabio Fabbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tambourine Dance im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 363.200,00 (€ 302.792,83).
