Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Choosing the silk by Fabio Fabbi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2017. The price achieved of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 47,423.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fabio Fabbi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Tambourine Dance in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 363,200.00 (€ 302,792.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Choosing the silk von Fabio Fabbi kam im Juli 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 47.423,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fabio Fabbi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Tambourine Dance im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 363.200,00 (€ 302.792,83).
