In the Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Exposition au Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Vente chez Christie's auction, the work Evêque assis et étude de têtes d'hommes sold for EUR 3,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fabio Canal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Un prophète assis sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of EUR 3,600.00.
