Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pasay beach, Manila by Fabian de La Rosa was sold in the SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2002. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 101,575.00 (€ 13,178.74), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabian de La Rosa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women working in a rice field in October 2000 with an auction result of SGD 713,750.00 (€ 478,749.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pasay beach, Manila von Fabian de La Rosa wurde im Oktober 2002 in der Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 101.575,00 (€ 13.178,74) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabian de La Rosa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Women working in a rice field im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SGD 713.750,00 (€ 478.749,12).
