This artwork by Fabio Fabbi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2013. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work The Belly Dancer sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,131.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabio Fabbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tambourine Dance in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 363,200.00 (€ 302,792.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fabio Fabbi erzielte im Januar 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit The Belly Dancer für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.131,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabio Fabbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tambourine Dance im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 363.200,00 (€ 302.792,83).
