Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Public Intervention: Art of the Street, which included this untitled work by Fab 5 Freddy. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,399.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fab 5 Freddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Monumental Moment in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,473.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Public Intervention: Art of the Street durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fab 5 Freddy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.772,00 (€ 2.399,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fab 5 Freddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Monumental Moment im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.473,86).
