In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Danish landscape with dark clouds changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Christian Kiærskou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view towards Sorø Academy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,510.96).
