Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Evgeny Rukhin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction, the work without title sold for GBP 35,280.00 (€ 42,081.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evgeny Rukhin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Da Nyet, 1975 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Evgeny Rukhin erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 35.280,00 (€ 42.081,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evgeny Rukhin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Da Nyet, 1975 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
