This work without title by Evgeny Rukhin was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 17,640.00 (€ 21,040.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Admittedly, works by Evgeny Rukhin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Da Nyet, 1975 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Evgeny Rukhin wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.640,00 (€ 21.040,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evgeny Rukhin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Da Nyet, 1975 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
