In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included this untitled work by Evgeny Rukhin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,394.74), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evgeny Rukhin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Da Nyet, 1975 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Evgeny Rukhin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.394,74) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Evgeny Rukhin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Da Nyet, 1975 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
