Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bonhams in Paris held the auction Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections, which included the work Composition avec ombres/ Composition with shadows by Evgeny Mikhnov-Voitenko. The price achieved of EUR 896.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evgeny Mikhnov-Voitenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract composition in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,604.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition avec ombres/ Composition with shadows von Evgeny Mikhnov-Voitenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 896,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evgeny Mikhnov-Voitenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract composition im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.604,04).
