This artwork by Evert Taube achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2011. In the Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm auction, the work "På stranden" (At the beach) sold for SEK 21,500.00 (€ 2,419.80) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Evert Taube; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Motif from Skagen sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,837.35).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Evert Taube erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm wurde die Arbeit "På stranden" (At the beach) für SEK 21.500,00 (€ 2.419,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 10.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Evert Taube; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Motif from Skagen im Oktober 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.837,35).
