This artwork by Eve Kirk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2004. In the Irish and 20th Century British Art auction, the work Everywhere You Go, The Liffey, Dublin sold for GBP 1,434.00 (€ 2,151.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eve Kirk; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot You Can be Sure of Shell, The Liffey, Dublin sold at auction in May 2003 with the realized price of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,291.90).
