Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Corinth From Loutraki, Overlooking The Gulf Of Corinth, Greece by Eve Kirk. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 998.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eve Kirk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work You Can be Sure of Shell, The Liffey, Dublin, which sold at auction in May 2003 for GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,291.90).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 705,00 (€ 998,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden.
