A top price for Évariste-Vital Luminais - as previously expected
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work The Bounty Of War by Évariste-Vital Luminais. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,351.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Bounty Of War is the most expensive artwork by Évariste-Vital Luminais that we have observed at auctions so far.
