Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Six works: (i) After; (ii) Diamond Variation; (iii) Evening Cutaway; (iv) Lazy Lightning; (v) Tropez L'Oiel; (vi) V-Tropic by Evan Gruzis for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,226.77). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evan Gruzis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Look and see, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 5,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Six works: (i) After; (ii) Diamond Variation; (iii) Evening Cutaway; (iv) Lazy Lightning; (v) Tropez L'Oiel; (vi) V-Tropic von Evan Gruzis für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.226,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Evan Gruzis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Look and see beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 5.750,00 versteigert wurde.
