Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Italian The Wine Makers by Eugenio Zampighi was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,280.69). Admittedly, works by Eugenio Zampighi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La famiglia felice in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 73,500,000.00 (€ 66,059.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Italian The Wine Makers von Eugenio Zampighi wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.280,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugenio Zampighi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La famiglia felice im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 73.500.000,00 (€ 66.059,99).
