Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Italian The Happy Family by Eugenio Zampighi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,576.24). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugenio Zampighi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La famiglia felice, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 73,500,000.00 (€ 66,059.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Italian The Happy Family von Eugenio Zampighi kam im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.576,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugenio Zampighi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La famiglia felice beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 73.500.000,00 (€ 66.059,99) versteigert wurde.
