Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings & Sculptures, which included the work A Happy Family by Eugenio Zampighi. The price achieved of USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,113.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugenio Zampighi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La famiglia felice in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 73,500,000.00 (€ 66,059.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Paintings, Drawings & Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Happy Family von Eugenio Zampighi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.450,00 (€ 8.113,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugenio Zampighi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La famiglia felice im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 73.500.000,00 (€ 66.059,99).
