This artwork by Eugenio Bonivento achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2000. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work A gondola before the Rialto Bridge; and The Doge's Palace from the lagoon sold for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,966.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by Eugenio Bonivento have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canale Veneziano in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugenio Bonivento erzielte im September 2000 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit A gondola before the Rialto Bridge; and The Doge's Palace from the lagoon für GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.966,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugenio Bonivento auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canale Veneziano im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
